Storycorps
Every other week we will be listening to a conversation between real people talking about real situations. Sometimes a conversation can tell so much about our lives; these conversations will give us an insight into the lives of others. How they have struggled, how they have made it through, how they have enjoyed it all. As we listen each week, my goal is that you will really try to hear what the speakers are saying and not just listen.
These conversations are honest, sometimes lovely, while at other times heartbreaking. They expose the speaker's true feelings and it is my hope that as we listen to the stories of others we can gain some insight into our own stories; the stories that make up our lives. It is my hope that we will be able to think about the stories that make up our lives and find a way to gain insight into how these experiences can be used for good, to help improve our lives and the lives of others.
Instructions: For each conversation/story, there is a list of questions to be answered before listening and after listening. There is no "right or wrong" answer so feel free to express your honest opinion, whatever it may be. First, answer the "before listening" questions. Then click on the link and listen to the conversation/story and answer the remaining "after listening" questions.
